Except of course that of the 109 complainants to the city council over the noise of the event this year, precisely 2 (two) had bothered to turn up to the public consultation meetings arranged a few months before the event.
Nah – berate them all you want. I’m annoyed by the crack of wood meeting jack on the local bowling green each and every day, but I choose to live and let the old fogies live.
Facebook groups are crap though, mainly because facebook is crap.

Fine, two bothered to turn up but then again, do you ever hear about these meetings? Last time we had a neighbourhood bitch and whine, about 7 people showed up because no one let people know properly.
So weh
But yes, facebook is crap and I wish the people who insist on contacting me through it would catch on to that fact *sigh*

We Kenilworth residents are normally quite a placid lot. I mean, we put up with the Met year after year with barely a grumble (and let me tell you, the stench of horse manure and rancid vomit lingers for days. I suspect it was Evanescence that finally pushed them over the edge.

And the noise on the Main Road is terrible. They should close it. Pick n Pay offices – loud. Virgin Active offices – loud.
